About Me:
Adult with CF- diagnosed as an adult about 15 years ago. (Also, 3 of my 10 siblings have CF - one passed away 5 years ago). I love to jog on the strand, even though I'm constantly passed up by runners younger and older than me! I have 3 healthy teenagers and hope to participate more in CF sites like this.

Yeah, I know. I love running. I grew up playing soccer through college, but after I graduated it got tougher for me to train and compete with a team. Running was the perfect solution for me. In fact, I liked it so much I added swimming and biking...then went out for my first triathlon in 2005. Crazy.

Unfortunately I'm in no shape to do the Toughman Ironman by myself, but I will be part of a relay team. :)

Keep us updated on how your exercise regimen is going. :)

Afghan family, including six children, killed in NATO air strike

KABUL - Eight civilians in one family, including six children, were killed in a NATO air strike after a field operation in Paktia province, local government officials told NBC News.

The incident took place at 8pm on Saturday in the Garda Serrai district, according the Paktia government spokesman Rohullah Samoon.

They were all members of one family, he said.

NATO said told NBC News it was taking the reports of the incident seriously and was investigating.
