If you are competing in any sport, join Team Boomer and compete for a cause!

As an athlete, Boomer Esiason knows how important exercise is for improving health, especially for those living with cystic fibrosis. Participating in sports and physical activity has many important health benefits and teaches discipline.

Team Boomer is a competitive athletic club, with a goal of promoting the benefits of physical exercise, while funding our Exercise for Life Scholarship Program.

Upon joining, you will receive fundraising material, access to our online fundraising site and a CF awareness wristband.

Most importantly, by joining Team Boomer you join the fight against cystic fibrosis.

Joining Team Boomer is easy and can earn you some really great prizes!


Step 1. Choose your event and register (MS Word .doc) A Team Boomer representative will then contact you to help you through the whole process.

Step 2. Decide if you’d like to download a Team Boomer Fundraising Packet

and/or create a profile online at www.firstgiving.com/TeamBoomer

Step 3. Set your fundraising goal. The more you raise, the more Team Boomer Fundraising Awards you earn.

$100 or more- Team Boomer t-shirt
$200 or more- Team Boomer baseball cap
$500 or more- Team Boomer competition singlet, Under Armour shirt, and nylon knapsack
$1,000 or more- Team Boomer sweatshirt and special recognition on our website

Step 4. Ask your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers to join you in the fight against cystic fibrosis. Many companies offer matching gift programs; remember to remind your sponsors to check with their company.

Step 5. Get out there and compete! For every mile you run, every lap you swim, every hill you climb, you are helping to beat CF!
